House Rules by one of my favorite authors Jodi Picoult. I got this book for Xmas last year but I just really started reading it. I can’t put it down. The way that Picoult writes her novels just astounds me. Every chapter is dedicated to a different characters point of view. Also I really admire the way that she researches so intensely before every book she writes. This book is about a family with a child with autism and how his obsession with forensics helps the police solve a murder. I promise you it’s not one of those stupid murder mystery novels, it’s enthralling, heartwarming, and has been keeping me on the edge of my seat. I’ll blog again and let everyone know how it is when I finish.
I’ve spent the better part of today taking care of my poor Mumma. She had 3 teeth pulled and whatever medication they gave her, made her loopy as anything. It’s weird growing up and feeling like you’ve switched roles with your parents. I also thought i’d faint at the sign of blood per usual, but for some reason I just plowed through and got her into bed. It’s funny what you can over come for the ones you love. Love you Mom<3
This show is just the best thing on TV right now. I watch it every night before I go to sleep. I think obsession would be an understatement for me…

My beautiful best friend Caitlin took some new head shots for me:) Ugh the last ones I had done were in 2008 and they don’t even look like me anymore. She did such a great job, especially since we did it while there was snow on the ground. Also head shots usually run someone almost 1,000 bucks and I got these completely free!! The shot on the bottom is the one I primarily use but the two other photos are just some examples of the rest of the shoot. EW THE SHOOT, like i’ll ever be able to say that again. haha my modeling career was short lived…
After missing a week of school for some ridiculous freak snow storm, we all came back and finally auditioned for the spring shows. I’m so blessed and thankful that I got cast as RONA in SPELLING BEE. There’s only about 9 people in the show and ZACH, COURT, AND MIKE will be joining me;) I’m so excited. When do you get the chance to do an amazing blackbox show with your best friends? I guess this one of the perks of going to school for musical theatre, because god knows it doesn’t happen like this in the real world. SPELLING BEE will be going up in April and tickets go on sale mid March. I’ll post a link as soon as they go up! COME SEE IT:)
